Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from Colorado homeowners about insurance claims, storm damage, and our services.

Does an inspection cost money?

For homeowners considering work with us, the inspection is at no cost. We document any damage and provide a written report. There's no obligation to use our services after the inspection.

For B2B inspections — when general contractors or commercial property managers want a third-party inspection report without engaging us for the work — we charge for our time. Reach out for a quote.

How quickly can you respond to storm damage?

We typically schedule inspections within 24-48 hours of the initial call. For active water damage emergencies, we operate 24/7 with on-site response in the Denver Metro typically within a few hours.

Will my insurance cover the work?

For sudden storm damage (hail, wind, fallen trees, water damage from burst pipes), most Colorado homeowners insurance policies cover the work. Damage from gradual issues like aging roofs or unmaintained gutters is typically not covered.

During our inspection, we can advise on what's likely to be covered. Our experience with Colorado insurance carriers helps us anticipate adjuster decisions before claims are filed.

How much will my project cost out of pocket?

For insurance-covered work, your out-of-pocket cost is typically just your policy deductible, usually $1,000-$2,500 depending on your policy. We handle the claim documentation, adjuster meetings, and supplemental claims so the insurance proceeds cover the actual work.

For non-insurance work (planned upgrades, remodels, gutters, etc.), we provide itemized written estimates upfront. No hidden fees or surprises.

What areas of Colorado do you service?

We're headquartered in Parker and serve the entire state with a focus on the Denver Metro and Front Range. Common service areas include Denver, Aurora, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Lone Tree, Lakewood, Westminster, Thornton, and Broomfield.

For projects outside the Denver Metro, including Colorado Springs, Boulder, and Fort Collins, reach out and we'll discuss logistics.

Do you do work other than roofing?

Yes. We're a full general contractor. Beyond roofing, we handle gutters, siding, windows, interior remodels (kitchens, bathrooms, full renovations), and fire/water/mold restoration.

For storm damage projects especially, having a single contractor coordinate roofing, siding, and gutters is more efficient than dealing with multiple specialty crews.

How long does a typical project take?

Roof replacement: 1-2 days for typical residential. Siding: 3-7 days depending on home size. Window replacement: 1-2 days. Interior remodels: 2-8 weeks depending on scope. Water damage restoration: 4-10 weeks from emergency call to fully rebuilt.

For insurance-covered work, factor in additional time for claim approval and material ordering — usually 2-4 weeks before construction begins.

What warranties do you offer?

Our workmanship warranty is included in writing on every project. Material warranties come from the manufacturers we partner with — typically 25-50 years on roofing materials, depending on the product line. We register all manufacturer warranties on your behalf.

When storms hit Colorado, we show up.
